Kyle GimpleThis talented young man has a lead foot and a heart of gold. He has tested his mettle on the road courses of the Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Racing Series. This season he will be driving for RSR Motorsports based out of Mesa, Arizona. The RSR cars are Mini Coopers, known as ‘Mini’s’, but the talent behind the steering wheel is huge. Twenty year-old Kyle Gimple continues to put up top lap times for the team.
From the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in California to the fast track at Daytona, Kyle Gimple has demonstrated driving talent that has powered his rise from kart racing to licensed Grand AM driver. Kyle is focused on his current Continental series but his driving ambition is to race into a higher level in Rolex, GT3 or NASCAR.
This California-born driver, who now resides in Minden NV, is working his way up the track series focused on racing to the top. Kyle’s excitement for race car driving began early when his parents placed him in an “arrive and drive” karting program with Jim Russell driving school at Infineon Raceway. Kyle’s only look back from those days has been in a race car’s rearview mirror.
